As Quantity Surveyors on the project, our role was to help manage costs from the early planning stages through to delivery, ensuring the project achieved the best possible value while supporting the school’s vision for a modern, purpose-built learning environment.
Central Auckland specialist School provides specialist education for students with high and complex learning needs across the Auckland region. The new facility has been designed to support both students and staff, offering flexible learning spaces, improved accessibility, and an environment that promotes comfort, independence, and inclusion. Educational building like this requires careful planning. Every decision – from the layout of classrooms to the selection of materials – needs to support those who use the space every day.
We’re proud to have contributed to a project that will have a lasting impact on students, families, and educators. Knowing that our work helps create better places for learning is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. AT BQH, we believe great projects are measured not only by how they’re built, but by the difference they make. The new building at Central Auckland Specialist School is a wonderful example of that, and we’re grateful to have been part of its journey.
